Washingtonian Magazine Honors Stratacomm With “50 Great Places to Work” Profile

Washingtonian magazine recently announced Stratacomm was selected among their biannual listing of “50 Great Places to Work.” Stratacomm is an independently-owned, full-service strategic communications agency. Winning workplaces were chosen by evaluating a range of measures, including generous pay and benefits, interesting and meaningful work, great work/life balance, opportunities to learn and grow, commitment to charity and community, and the recognition and respect given to employees. Final award determinations weighed heavily on individual scores given by company employees.

Washingtonian’s Stratacomm profile observes, “This communications and marketing firm that specializes in energy and transportation – whose clients include Nissan and the Department of Energy – fosters a fun team vibe. Winners were chosen after Washingtonian editors reviewed nearly 200 companies and more than 7,500 employee surveys where Stratacomm and employees elsewhere were asked to rate things such as how supportive their managers are and how happy they are with the healthcare plan. Stratacomm also separately conducts anonymous employee surveys yearly. Highlights from that recent effort echo Washingtonian’s conclusions and confirm the majority of people working at Stratacomm agree:
