May 2026, Condé Nast Plans to Shutter or Reduce Several Smaller Titles
Condé Nast announced a portfolio restructuring that shutters several smaller operations and trims staff as it shifts resources to its largest, most profitable brands. Plans include winding down standalone digital editions (including SELF) and reducing operations for Glamour and other international editions and reinvest in marquee titles such as Vogue and The New Yorker. Layoffs and role eliminations have already begun.
