Augsburger Allgemeine: Lena Jakat (@lenajakat) has been appointed Executive Editor and a member of the editorial board at the Augsburger Allgemeine newspaper. She previously worked at the Süddeutsche Zeitung and Media Lab Bayern.
Bloomberg News: Patrick Donahue (@patrickjdo) has been appointed European Government Editor at Bloomberg News in Berlin after an eight-year stint as a German political correspondent at the outlet.
Das Haus: Folkert Siemens (@das_haus) becomes Editor-in-Chief of Hubert Burda’s magazine Das Haus, replacing Gaby Miketta who is retiring.
Das Neue Blatt: Eike Lange, Editor-in-Chief of Neue Post and various monthly magazines at Bauer Media Group, takes over as Editor-in-Chief of Das Neue Blatt. He replaces Petra Hansen-Blank, who is retiring after 34 years at the publisher.
DIE ZEIT: Tanja Stelzer, (@TanjaStelzer) formerly Head of the Dossier section of DIE ZEIT, becomes a member of the editorial board at the weekly newspaper. The section is now headed by Malte Henk alongside Wolfgang Uchatius.
FOCUS: Franziska Reich (@FOCUS_Magazin) has been appointed Head of Politics and a member of the editorial board at FOCUS magazine. She was previously Head of the Politics and Economics section of Stern.
ORF: Benedikt Fuchs (@fuchsbene) is promoted to Editor-in-Chief at the Lower Austria state studio of ORF, replacing Robert Ziegler who has become State Director at the public broadcaster.
