taz – die tageszeitung: Silke Mertins (@simer122) has been appointed Co-Head of the Opinion Desk at the taz daily newspaper alongside Susanne Knaul. Mertins previously worked at the Hamburg and Berlin editions, as well as spending six years as a correspondent in Israel.
