Ankorstore, a B2B marketplace that offers a product catalogue of over 20,000 brands to 250,0000 retailers across Europe, has appointed Clarity, the global marketing communications agency, to run its UK communications program. Clarity will partner with the wholesale marketplace platform in order to grow its brand awareness among key audiences and to establish the company as a trusted partner to both retailers and brands.
Three years after its launch in 2019, Ankorstore, reached unicorn status, at a valuation of €1.75 billion. Its most recent funding round, a €250M Series C, was led by BOND and Tiger Global with the participation of Eurazeo and Coatue as well as all existing investors: Index Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, GFC, Alven and Aglae.
Clarity will work with Ankorstore to assist them in completing its mission to rewild retail for independent brands and retailers, as well as raise its profile amongst those retailers and brands who are looking to help re-inject life back into the British high street and really support local communities.
Clarity has also worked with Ankorstore on an exciting new brand partnership, teaming up with British high street champion and expert, Mary Portas. The two will collaborate on a range of activations that will support Ankorstore’s mission to rewild retail and act as a true advocate for independent retailers and brands, alongside Clarity’s support.
