Golin elevates Mittag to lead region’s expanding influencer strategy
NEW YORK (June 13, 2025) – Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) agency Golin today announced the promotion of Kim Mittag to U.S. Head of Influencer. Mittag brings with her over a decade of experience in influencer marketing and has been a prominent player in building Golin’s influencer practice, which now has more than 150 influencer specialists across the agency. She is responsible for leading the teams on award-winning work across a diverse portfolio of clients, including Adobe, Ferrero, the LEGO Group and PepsiCo.

Kim Mittag
In her newly created role, Mittag will lead the influencer group’s operations in the Americas which continue to see rapid expansion. Since launching in 2020, Golin’s influencer revenue has more than quadrupled, reflecting the agency’s successful expansion in this rapidly evolving market. This announcement comes at a time when influencer marketing spend is outpacing traditional ad spend growth, and clients are looking for new ways to drive meaningful connections with their customers through influencer engagement.
Golin’s influencer function distinguishes itself through its integrated approach, leveraging specialized talent who understands how to seamlessly weave influencer partnerships into holistic marketing strategies across paid, earned and owned media. Both high-touch and high-tech, Golin’s influencer methodology combines human expertise with proprietary technology to cut through today’s increasingly automated marketing landscape. The result is authentic influencer partnerships that safeguard brand reputation while delivering genuine business impact.
Under Mittag’s leadership, the agency will also prioritize critical components of holistic influencer integration – lower funnel strategies, conversion and ROI measurement. As brands seek full-funnel outcomes, Golin will help clients integrate influencer partnerships into commerce strategies.
“The combination of influencer and commerce represents massive untapped potential,” Mittag notes. “Early adopters will dominate this space, and we’re positioning our clients to lead.”
Mittag reports to Dawn Langeland, Co-President of North America, Golin.
“Kim brings a wealth of experience and comes with an excellent track record for delivering forward thinking innovation and operational excellence to influencer marketing strategies,” said Langeland. “We are thrilled to have Kim evolve and expand our influencer offering at such an important time for clients.”
