MPRM Elevates Sylvia Desrochers, Caitlin Mcgee, and Natalie Yallouz to Executive Vice President

MPRM Communications, a leading independent public relations agency using the power of storytelling to build brands and engage audiences, announced that Sylvia Desrochers, Caitlin McGee, and Natalie Yallouz are being promoted to executive vice president as part of an overall succession plan prompted by company Chairman and Co-founder Rachel McCallister’s move to consultant status. They will join MPRM Co-Founder and President Mark Pogachefsky to guide the company forward. Lisa Bustamante becomes a senior vice president and will play an integral role on the senior management team.

Desrochers, who joined MPRM in 2019 when she closed Big Time, her agency of 11 years, oversees film campaigns as well as numerous corporate clients in the storytelling space; McGee, who has been with MPRM for 15 years, will continue to helm MPRM’s consumer television, streaming and awards clients; and Yallouz, who has been with MPRM a total of 11 years, heads corporate, digital and consumer products. With MPRM a total of 12 years, Bustamante works closely with McGee on the company’s television and streaming clients. The four will continue to provide strategic counsel to the agency’s robust roster of clients. Together they will work closely with Pogachefsky to expand the agency’s 20-plus year legacy into the future.

McCallister is stepping down after 40 years in entertainment public relations, beginning in the Film & Television division of Rogers & Cowan. She launched Rachel McCallister & Associates in 1988 and  joined forces with Pogachefsky to launch MPRM Communications in 1998, bringing together Rachel McCallister & Associates, KillerApp Communications and The Pogachefsky Company. McCallister was recognized with the Publicists Guild’s Les Mason Award in 1993 and has served as a Governor for the Publicist Branch of the Television Academy.

During her 20 year career Desrochers has worked with lauded filmmakers such as Academy Award winners John Ridley, Freida Mock, James Moll, Susanne Bier, Sofia Coppola, Curtis Hanson, and Alfonso Cuaron, as well as Liesl Tommy, Lauren Hadaway, Tig Notaro & Stephanie Allynne, Scott Alexander & Larry Karaszewski, Kim Peirce, Mira Nair, and Philip Kaufman for their theatrical and/or awards campaigns. She has represented films at Cannes, Toronto, Sundance, SXSW, Hot Docs, Tribeca, AFI, Los Angeles Film Festival, and more. Recent projects include Jeen-Yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy, You Are Not My Mother, You Won’t Be Alone, Bring Your Own Brigade, Mayor Pete, and Rebel Hearts. Desrochers also works with corporate clients USC Libraries Scripter Awards, Slamdance, No Studios, Cinetic Media, Foothill Productions, MUBI, and The American Pavilion in Cannes. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

McGee, a member of the Television Academy, leads publicity efforts for numerous clients across television, streaming, and home entertainment. She has developed and executed strategic publicity campaigns for a broad range of clients including major studios, networks and streamers such as Netflix, Crackle, FXX, Showtime, DreamWorks Animation Television, NBC, TV One, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Disney Studios Home Entertainment. She also leads the television awards team, having overseen both FYC campaigns and submissions for clients like AMC Networks, Starz, Sony Pictures Television, as well as independent producers and directors.

Yallouz spearheads publicity efforts for the company’s corporate, digital media, audio entertainment and technology clients. From start-ups to established brands, she works on a wide range of clients with a focus on elevating their businesses and leadership teams through strategic communication plans and thought leadership campaigns. She also oversees publicity efforts on behalf of the company’s consumer products gift guide campaigns. Current and past clients include Crackle Plus, Snap Inc., Bunim/Murray Productions, Wrapbook, Stampede Ventures, Disney Consumer Products and Crewvie, among others.

Bustamante oversees and manages publicity campaigns for the agency’s television, digital and events clients. She spearheads strategic consumer campaigns for numerous networks, streaming services such as NBC, Adult Swim, and FXX as well as editorial awards campaigns for Sony Pictures Television and Property Brothers. She is also a member of the Television Academy.
