Creative consumer agency Radioactive has kicked off 2022 by winning five new clients across PR and influencer and performance marketing briefs, and seven nominations in the first UK Digital PR Awards.
The historic Sudeley Castle & Gardens has chosen to partner with Radioactive for PR in 2022 after a competitive pitch, including launching exciting new visitor attractions and highlighting its sustainability efforts. Plant-based pet food brand Omni has also instructed Radioactive to deliver a digital PR brief in 2022.
Online building materials marketplace, Materials Market, is working with Radioactive on digital and brand PR, as well as influencer and performance marketing to connect professional builders and DIYers to quality suppliers.
Radioactive is also running performance marketing campaigns for women’s health platform, Naytal, which encourages women to take charge of their own healthcare and access professional help online when they need it, and an influencer marketing pilot for an NHS trust in England.
Off the back of its win for ‘Best Integrated Campaign’ at the UK Search Awards in November 2021, the Radioactive team has been shortlisted seven times at the UK Digital PR Awards. The awards, which will be announced in early April, include Campaign of the Year – Retail for its work with EachNight.com, Campaign of the Year – Entertainment and B2C Campaign of the Year for its work with Platin Casino, Campaign of the Year – Travel/Leisure for its work with LateRooms.com, and Best Integrated Campaign for its work with ProDog Raw.
Account managers Holly Freeman and Rianne Mason are both up for the Rising Star award.
Rich Leigh, founder and CEO of Radioactive, said:
“It’s always a great feeling to welcome new clients, but this is especially big for us as we’re winning competitive pitches across PR, technical SEO, performance marketing and affiliate briefs now. We’ve really honed our integrated offering, and to be honest, we know what we’re great at and don’t pursue the things we’re not right for anymore. I’ve talked about growing up, and that’s it for me.
“Having overcome the challenges of the last two years I am, and we are, more ambitious than ever. We have big plans for 2022, including an imminent rebrand, bringing our companies under one Radioactive banner and one P&L, and a move to an amazing new office we’re fitting out in the heart of Gloucester Quays that will allow us to more than double our headcount!”
