Relevance International, a public relations and brand strategy agency specializing in real estate, hospitality and luxury goods, has announced that Fiona Harris—an experienced and trusted leader in brand strategy, marketing and public relations—joined the agency as managing director of its UK office. In 2018, Harris was named one of London’s most influential people by Evening Standard, and was previously cited in PRWeek’s Power Book as one of the UK’s leading communications experts.
“Relevance’s London office has grown strong over the past year and a half and I can’t wait to see where it soars to with Fiona now at the helm. She plays an integral role in helping to usher our company’s global vision forward,” said Suzanne Rosnowski, CEO and founder of Relevance International. “Her extensive background in the luxury, hospitality and lifestyle spaces is perfectly aligned with Relevance’s areas of focus. She is connected, seasoned, creative and savvy, and we are so very happy to welcome her to the team.”
Harris will spearhead the day-to-day strategy and execution of public relations services in Relevance’s London office, which opened in 2017 and coincided with the New York-headquartered company’s rebrand from Relevance New York to Relevance International. The London office includes a roster of clients including Quintessentially Estates, Concierge Auctions, Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, The Royal Atlantis Resort and Residences in Dubai, H8 Collection in France, and The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, among others. As managing director, she is responsible for fostering new business, expanding the rapidly growing team, and serving as the strategic lead for the London arm, which services clients throughout Europe and beyond.
“Working with a myriad of luxury brands and businesses that have taken me around the world, I’m confident in my ability to take Relevance’s London office to the next level,” said Harris. “I resonate heavily with the company’s long-term global vision and am proud to be a part of such a premier, international agency.”
With nearly 30 years of public relations and marketing experience, Harris previously headed the VIP relations department for high-end UK department store Selfridges, where she helped define strategy around attracting and retaining the international UHNW customer. Prior to that, she served as the director of international communications for luxury hotel group Corinthia Hotels, spending four years growing the international communications team, redefining the luxury positioning of the iconic hotels with award-winning creative campaigns and partnerships. Harris also held roles as director of public relations and brand development for Kuoni Travel. She worked at Condé Nast Publishing for eight years holding three management roles; promotions director, then acting publisher at Condé Nast Traveler, and acting associate publisher at Tatler. Harris also co-founded her own successful travel and lifestyle agency, Bacall Harris Associates.
Born and raised in Oxford, Harris is an avid supporter of the Royal Albert Hall and British Library, as well as a contributor to a number of leading medical charities. She holds a Bachelor of arts degree in history, and has additional qualifications in psychotherapy.
Originally founded by Rosnowski in 2012 in New York City, Relevance International has emerged as a global leading agency with a unique combination of boutique sensibility and international savvy. Rosnowski launched the London office as part of the firm’s vision, and initially built the team and clientele from across the pond. From there, the office went on to be named a finalist for UK’s PRWeek Global Awards in 2019. The agency has subsequently grown to build a global network of affiliates to support its expanding worldwide client roster. Relevance International launched its digital arm, Relevance Digital in 2018, and continues to expand its full-service, 360-degree communications services. Rosnowski has her sights set on Los Angeles for its next office.
“Relevance International has a culture of teamwork and continually attracting the best talent in the PR field to our growing team,” she said. “We seek the best in the world for our company’s leadership and we are honored to have Fiona join us.”
