R&J Strategic Communications, a full service integrated marketing and public relations agency, announced Account Executive, Jess Cummings, and Digital Account Strategist, Kaila Starita, have been recognized by the New Jersey Advertising Club as two of Jersey’s Best Marketing and Communications Professionals under age 40 for 2022. Nominated by their peers, Jess and Kaila, are two of only 24 professionals to be selected for this honor.

As an Account Executive at R&J, Jess plays a number of important roles on the agency’s healthcare and human services teams and is a trusted partner to some of the most prominent healthcare and behavioral health organizations in the state. She has an innate ability to take complex topics and distill them down to create informative, engaging content that inspires, motivates, and informs target audiences.
Known by her colleagues as the agency’s resident ‘Word Wizard’, Jess’ knack for the artful, effective use of language is highly valued by clients and colleagues alike. Jess’ creative talents aren’t limited to the written word, however, and she is also the agency’s ‘go to’ resource for video production and content marketing, having executed highly-successful campaigns for R&J clients in commercial real estate, healthcare and human services.
As Digital Account Strategist, Kaila plays a leading role in developing, executing and managing every digital marketing initiatives conducted at R&J. She is invaluable to R&J’s success in digital marketing and advertising.
Kaila has a gift for taking complex audience targeting strategies and data analytics and communicating them in a way that enables clients to easily understand the strategic value of social media and digital marketing. This is particularly critical when working with clients who have not previously engaged with digital advertising and aren’t familiar with the terminology or performance metrics. With a strong, proven track record of success, Kaila’s expertise often results in campaigns performing beyond projections enabling the agency to grow client relationships and expand work on accounts ranging from global consumer products brands to regional commercial real estate leaders as well as attract new clients.
