The Reis Group has promoted two of its team members, Lauren Musiol and Tamara Moore, to the position of Senior Vice President. In their new roles, they will be supervising work for major clients in health and science, promoting the firm’s continuing growth in public education, media relations, and science promotion, and assisting with building the internal capacity of the firm.

“As The Reis Group continues to grow our presence in the D.C. area and beyond, Lauren and Tamara have played an integral role in the success of our firm,” said Sharon Reis, founder and principal of The Reis Group, a Washington-based public relations agency focused on health and social issues. “They bring a passion for health, healthcare, and science issues that our longtime clients highly value. They also provide a depth of expertise in garnering significant media coverage and spearheading national campaigns that set them apart from their peers.”

Recognized as an Emerging Leader by the Washington Women in Public Relations and as Account Director of the Year by PR News, Musiol has excelled at overseeing large, multi-faceted communications campaigns since joining Reis in 2006. Her experience and proficiency in market research, messaging, materials development, and event planning are critical to client satisfaction and retention. Musiol is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in journalism and mass communication.

Named Ragan & PR Daily’s PR Professional of the Year and honored as an Emerging Leader by Washington Women in PR, Moore’s deep understanding of science and policy is routinely tapped by the firm to translate complex issues for major clients. Since joining Reis in 2006, Moore has regularly placed clients in front of breaking news stories and in expert commentaries, and has developed media strategies that make headlines across national news publications. Moore holds a B.A. in public communication and communication, legal studies, economics, and government from American University in Washington, D.C.

The Reis Group, recently honored as best new agency by the Public Relations Society of America National Capital Chapter, has regularly been featured among industry trades as a top agency to work for, contributing to low turnover among team members, many of whom bring 10 or more years of experience in public relations, journalism, public affairs, and advocacy.
