Length of PR career (so far): 16 years

Number of 2 a.m. calls from a client this month: So far zero this month…let’s hope we keep it that way

Best thing about working at your agency: Our team! We are a people-first agency and put just as much effort into our team as we do our clients.

Last time you didn’t do any work all weekend: Is this a trick question?

Most misunderstood thing about PR: PR is not just a support vehicle. We have come a long way and PR is a leading and essential arm of the integrated marketing mix.

Vijay LalwaniMost interesting thing about your job: I am never bored! We work in an industry that continues to evolve and I learn something new every day.

Number of meetings you were in last week: 36 just last week. Scary right?

Your nightmare client in 3 words: Lack of passion!

Rate your math skills from 1-10 (10=best): 8

Favorite way to de-stress: An evening with my husband and our dog Koki!

The moment you realized PR is more important than you thought it would be: Day 1 of my first PR internship in 2000. I knew after just a few hours that this was not all glitz and glamour. I had to have my A game on at all times!

Worst PR crisis in the news this year so far: Unfortunately, we have seen many in 2016…from brand defects and recalls, current events and even elements of the presidential election.

Vijay LalwaniFavorite non-work hobby: Travel and spending time with my dog @KokiStateofMind!

Cocktail of choice: A nice Single Malt Scotch

Your first “real” job: British Airways Customer Service Agent at JFK one summer during High School.

Childhood “dream job”: A Veterinarian. It is still one of my dream jobs – I love animals!

Three people you’d love to invite to dinner: Princess Diana, Martin Luther King Jr. and Malala Yousafzai. The positivity, passion and inspiration from that dinner could help many of the issues we face today.

Your next big adventure: Each and every day is a new adventure…we shall see what happens tomorrow!
