Rasky Partners Adds Marianne Smith as Vice President in D.C. Office

Rasky Partners announced that Marianne Smith will join the firm as a Vice President.

Marianne brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the federal government and private sector. During her career, she held positions in strategic business development, government relations, personnel management, and political consulting.

In her role as Vice President at Rasky, Smith will actively forge new business opportunities in the government and business communities, in addition to providing her high-level expertise and guidance to clients. She will work closely with the firm’s government relations team by utilizing her extensive experiences and relationships across the public and private sector to assist clients in growing their federal business.

Smith has worked and consulted for several political campaigns at the state and national level, including serving in various roles on Presidential campaigns from Michael Dukakis for President to Hillary for America. Furthermore, she has held key roles as DNCC Deputy Director of Podium Operations, as well as Political State Manager, Scheduling and Advance and on Presidential Executive Branch Transition teams for both the Clinton and Obama presidencies.

In addition to her campaign experience, Smith held various appointments in the public and private sector including eight years of federal service from the White House Offices of Presidential Personnel, The National Archives, the Departments of Commerce and Transportation. Moreover, she spent the last dozen years as a Corporate Vice President and Business Consultant to numerous firms, including, Horne Engineering Services as well as Enviance, Inc., a cloud-based Environmental, Health, and Safety software company, where she provided strategic advice on environmental compliance and energy efficiency projects for the Department of Defense, other federal and state agencies and nationwide.
