New York, NY (April 16, 2024) Channel V Media (CVM), a communications strategy and PR firm that builds market momentum for both established enterprises and emerging venture‑backed innovators, today announced the expansion of its 16-year content marketing practice. The company will build on its core competency of creating and executing on lead generation content strategies  with the introduction of video and podcasting offerings. Leading this expansion will be new Director of Content, Gabriella Bock. Bock joins Channel V Media from RETHINK Retail and will additionally oversee the agency’s website development and social media practices.

Content has taken on an elevated role in marketing, considering the growing number of marketing channels companies have at their disposal to reach audiences. Central to their ability to leverage everything from owned channels (websites, newsletters, social media and blogs) to paid advertising channels  is producing regular  editorial, image-driven,, video and audio content. Pressure on marketers is compounded by their need to position authentically while also appealing to different audience types–and driving high-value behaviors along the way.

While at retail multi-media outlet RETHINK Retail, Bock oversaw the development and growth of the company’s earned editorial and paid media departments. In her role as Director of Editorial and Industry Relations, Bock was behind strategic content marketing campaigns for a number of companies, including Coveo, Diebold Nixdorf, Fortinet, IBM, Microsoft, T-Mobile, and Salesforce. She’s additionally a recognized industry speaker and podcast creator, who has facilitated conversations with founders and executives at dozens of Fortune 1000 retail brands and technology companies.

At Channel V Media, she will lead the company’s content division as it scales to meet increased demand for new ways to leverage the earned media narratives it develops for clients. Bock’s goal is to provide the agency’s clients unprecedented visibility and reach through cross-channel media and brand-building campaigns.

“We have long prioritized content that places companies at the center of industry challenges and opportunities, while steering away from narratives that don’t appeal to audiences. With Gabriella on board, we’re confident we’ll be able to scale our unique approach to storytelling to new content types and every marketing channel that companies want to be on,” said Kieran Powell, EVP at Channel V Media. “Gabriella is not only skilled at pinpointing fresh opportunities for clients, she excels at transforming existing content into new multi-media formats. She also has a sophisticated understanding of how to grow and develop audiences and how content marketing, events, podcasts and other owned channels can work together to help achieve business goals.”

Bock will join Channel V Media’s leadership team in shaping agency vision, developing new business and in raising the bar for what a communications agency can do for clients.

Since 2008, Channel V Media has been creating differentiated market narratives for its clients across the financial, retail, advertising, marketing, healthcare, software and consumer goods sectors. The company’s public relations division was involved in early efforts to educate the business world on the benefits of using thought leadership content as part of marketing efforts, through its work with what would later become the Content Marketing Institute.
