Evoke KYNE appoints Sarah Cooper Welty to Senior Vice President, and additional hires and promotions

Evoke KYNE, an award-winning health communications agency, today announced the promotion of Sarah Cooper Welty to Senior Vice President. As a member of the firm’s Senior Management Team, Sarah will continue to oversee key client engagements in neuroscience and immuno-oncology, issues management and corporate reputation, reporting to Stephanie DeViteri. Cooper’s promotion reflects her significant contributions to the agency’s business over the past decade by cultivating trusted client partnerships and leading high-performing teams that deliver impactful communications programs.

Additional Senior-Level Promotions

To support its ongoing growth, in the last quarter the agency has made more than 25 new hires across levels and geographies as well as promoted Lauren Ellert and Karen Urban both to Vice President (VP). Ellert has a decade of experience leading a variety of communications initiatives including celebrity disease awareness campaigns, advocacy collaborations, patient/influencer engagement, product approvals and clinical milestone support. Urban specializes in awareness campaigns and special events, having worked with high-profile physicians, celebrities, and influencers on both large- and small-scale activations on behalf of major pharmaceutical companies. In these new VP roles, Ellert and Urban will join the Philadelphia regional management team to support company staffing and financial management, will continue leading key client engagements led out of Philadelphia, and will play a bigger role on global new business development efforts.
