Dallas Morning News: Sabriya Rice (@sabriyarice) will leave on July 6 to become the Knight Chair in Health and Medical Journalism at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Newsday: Anne Michaud (@ammichaud) has left.

New York Times: hires Edmund Lee (@edmundlee) as a Corporate Media Reporter in New York.

Reuters: promotes Ben Klayman (@benklayman) to Detroit Bureau Chief, effective July 2.

Wall Street Journal: promotes Matt Murray (@murraymatt) to Editor-in-Chief, replacing Gerard Baker (@gerardtbaker), who will become Editor-at-Large. Baker will write a weekend column and host a new program on Fox Business News.

Washington Post: appoints Susan Levine (@SKLevine) as Deputy Editor of the Talent Network, the paper’s platform for freelance contributors.

Business and Commerce

Bloomberg Businessweek: promotes Max Chafkin (@chafkin) to Features Editor.

Phoenix Business Journal: hires Greg Barr (@ABJBarr) as Editor. He begins July 5.

Quartz: promotes Mike Murphy (@mcwm) to Deputy Tech Editor.

Triad Business Journal: hires Margaret Moffett (@TriadBizMoffett) as Managing Editor.

Virginia Business: Paula C. Squires (@virginiabiz) has left her role as Managing Editor but will remain as a Contributor.

Consumer Lifestyle

DuJour: hires Kim Peiffer (@kapeiffer) as Editor-in-Chief.

MarieClaire.com: hires Cady Drell (@hella_drella) as Senior News and Culture Editor.

Men’s Health: Dan Michel (@iamdanmichel) leaves to become Editorial Director for UNTUCKit, a menswear e-commerce company.

Robb Report: appoints Paul Croughton (@PaulCroughton) as Editor-in-Chief, effective in July. He previously oversaw the UK edition.

Healthcare and Medicine

Healthcare Informatics: will cease print publication and go all-digital effective in the second half of the year (@HCInformatics). The publication covers health IT with a focus on clinical informatics.

Politics, Government and Education

Politico: promotes Cristiano Lima (@viaCristiano) to Senior Tech Reporter. He will be the Lead Writer for the new “Morning Tech” newsletter.

Route Fifty: hires Laura Maggi (@routefifty) as Managing Editor. The publication from Atlantic Media covers state, city and county government.

Task & Purpose: Aaron Gell (@aarongell) leaves and will become a Contributing Editor at Medium.

Daily Mail: Paul Dacre (@dailymailuk) is stepping down as Chairman/Editor-in-Chief in October but will remain at Associated. Geordie Greig will join in late summer. Ted Verity will take up the role of Editor at the Mail on Sunday, also in late summer.

Daily Mirror: Russell Myers (@rjmyers) is now covering Royal news following Victoria Murphy’s departure.

I: Josh Barrie (@joshbythesea) has been named Staff Writer.

Mail Online: Aaron Brown (@JustAaronBrown) has been appointed UK Science and Technology Deputy Editor.

Sun Online, The: Jess Wilson (@JessWJourno) has been named Deputy Digital Features Editor.

Sunday Times, The: Oliver Shah (@olivershah) has been appointed Business Editor.
