In a year that’s bound to be full of surprises, things are off to a strong start here at Bulldog HQ, where January goes in the books as one of our strongest months in recent history. As per usual, our new-year-forecasting byline submissions accounted for a big chunk of the traffic last month, but we were happy to see that two of the top three posts concerned ethics in PR and media relations—and we’re hoping that’s indicative of where PR will focus a lot of attention this year. In that vein, our piece on the 2024 Edelman Trust Barometer was also well read—not surprising as it is one of the most reliable and trusted studies in the industry, but still a good sign to us.
Prediction pieces included how technology will change the PR industry in 2024—and the urgency to keep up with those progressions. Other interesting post topics include tips on making a lasting impression with your campaign in one viral moment; a look back at social media video performance in 2023; how media monitoring can boost your content strategy; why nano-influencers will be so important this year (hint: because they’re more niche-focused and trustworthy); and how to optimize new incentives announced by the USPS regarding direct mail marketing. In case you missed a few, here are our Top 10 posts of the month. Stay warm out there!
