New GDPR-ready survey tool for marketers and researchers launches

As organizations worldwide struggle to get ready for the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR, marketers and researchers can stay a step ahead with a new tool from online survey and insights solutions company QuestionPro.

The firm has launched a GDPR-ready survey and insights solution ahead of the May 2018 enforcement date. Customers will be able to conduct market research and collect data that meets compliance and data protection requirements for individuals within the European Union.

The imminent regulation will come into effect on May 25th, 2018 and will have a fundamental impact on how organizations treat data from individuals in compliance with new privacy laws.

Online surveys, which are at the forefront of any consumer, market, or employee research, also need to follow GDPR compliance regulations

In order to make it easier for users to create and send GDPR compliant surveys, QuestionPro launched a sophisticated process to ensure all data being collected is fully GDPR compliant.

Our GDPR-ready settings will allow our customers to continue collecting survey responses without the fear of fines at either an organization or survey level.”

Customers who incorporate QuestionPro’s GDPR compliant settings can expect the following benefits:

  • GDPR Compliance will be enabled for all accounts on EU servers by default
  • A data protection office (DPO) to be designated by each customer
  • Policy document customization available including:
    • Data retention period
    • Use of data for research purposes only
    • No commercial sale of the data
    • No solicitation
    • Language, data server preferences, and settings
    • Right to be forgotten
